Red Crearte has posted a taste of worship from AIPRAL’s 12th Assembly on their YouTube channel. The Assembly also issued a pastoral letter calling for daily care of God’s creation.

In response to unprecedented flooding in southern Louisiana, the Evangelical Presbyterian Church has launched an emergency relief fund to help the affected population. World Renew has also expanded its response to the unprecedented flooding.

The Presbyterian Church in Korea is inviting sisters and brothers to download 100 prayer topics on Healing, Reconciliation, and Peaceful Reunification of the Korean Nation (in English and Korean), as this week marks the 71st anniversary of liberation of the Korean Peninsula from the Japanese following the end of the World War II.

Adv. Robert Bruce, the treasurer of the Church of South India and the Rt. Rev. J. George Stephen, the bishop of CSI Madras Diocese, demanded the inclusion of Dalit Christians and Muslims in the Scheduled Caste list and thus give justice to these people who have been denied the equal rights for almost seven decades.

The July edition of The Frontier News, from the Diocese of Peshawar, Church of Pakistan, features peace building initiatives, youth activities and more.

United Church of Christ leaders are asking their young people to see themselves as leaders, sharing in the work of God, boldly and with faith. A video shows how young people at the UCC’s 2016 National Youth Event responded to the event’s theme: “Believe.”

Our sisters and brothers in the Council for World Mission are looking for a programme associate for Africa, to be based in South Africa.

CWM have also shared a short piece on Olympic glory and faith.

The National Council of Churches in India, meeting as a General Body in Chennai on August 12, strongly condemned the growing atrocities against dalits in India.

En el espíritu de Jesús

Confesamos nuestra fe y en el espíritu de Jesús creemos que somos militantes por la justicia en todos los frentes y sectores de la sociedad, a partir de prácticas que defiendan la vida, promuevan la equidad de género y el respeto a las diversas etnias.

En el espíritu de Jesús, mujeres y varones, soñamos con una sociedad que no condene, con oportunidades para todos y todas, donde el amor nos convierta en una gran familia.

En el espíritu de Jesús soñamos ser una comunidad inclusiva que reconozca la gracia de Dios en todos los ámbitos de la vida y en todas las personas, en especial las que más sufren.

En el espíritu de Jesús soñamos con una iglesia fortalecida, unida, resiliente y transformadora desde el ejemplo de Jesucristo.

En el espíritu de Jesús creemos en una iglesia misionera que se preocupa y camina con las personas más excluidas de la sociedad.

En el espíritu de Jesús creemos en una iglesia que educa, denuncia y proclama las Buenas Nuevas.

En el espíritu de Jesús creemos en una iglesia comunitaria e integradora, que a través de sus dones transforma la realidad, siendo sal y luz de un mundo nuevo, cumpliendo la misión como una comunidad que glorifica a Dios.

En el espíritu de Jesús creemos en una Iglesia Reformada siempre reformándose, contextual, inclusiva e inter-generacional.

En el espíritu de Jesús creemos en una Iglesia comprometida con el cuidado de la creación y lo asumimos en las prácticas cotidianas.
