Networks as a response to the challenge of migration: More than 50 people met virtually to discuss Women and Migration in Latin America, within the framework of the Day of Prayer for Latin American Women.

Honoring the memory of Jules Isaac and celebrating Jewish-Christian friendship: The Chief Rabbi of France Haïm Korsia, Pastor Christian Krieger, president of the Protestant Federation of France, and Mgr Éric de Moulins-Beaufort, president of the Conference of Bishops of France, laid a wreath on the tomb of Jules Isaac, French historian and resistance fighter. This event took place at the Montparnasse cemetery to honor the memory of Jules Isaac and express the deep gratitude due to him for his exceptional contribution to France and to the founding of Jewish-Christian friendship.

Igreja Presbiteriana Independente do Brasil Diaconia participates in the VII “Refugees” Forum: IPI do Brasil was represented at the VII “Refugees” Forum, which took place in São Paulo on September 28th to 30th. This year’s theme was “Welcome into the community of faith”. The forum was organized by Associação Casa in partnership with Christian organizations such as Visão Mundial, Renas and others. It brought together churches and local entities dedicated to welcoming and integrating migrants and refugees in Brazil.

Interfaith dialog center a safe space for all faith followers: The Al Amana Centre in Oman was founded in 1987, but its roots date back to the country’s first Christian mission in the late 19th century. Today Al Amana, which means “sacred trust” in Arabic, functions as a meeting and training center focused on promoting and practicing interfaith dialogue and co-existence between different faiths.

Council for World Mission Member Churches General Secretaries’ Conference opened on 4 October in Singapore under the theme “Rise to Life: Together in Transformation.” The conference brings together general secretaries of CWM member churches from around the world for fellowship, learning, and discernment.

The Council for World Mission currently has two positions open: Mission Secretary – Social Justice and Mission Secretary – Peace & Development.
