The World Peace Forum with the theme, “HereWe Pray Together”, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi took place from 18 to 19 October 2018 in St. Catherine, South Sinai. “We want a world without terrorism and Egypt will remain a country of peace; terrorism has no religion and no homeland. Egypt will stand by its army and police in the face of terrorism and evil power,” said General Khaled Fouda, governor of South Sinai. Read more

The 3rd Global Christian Forum gathering took place in Bogotá, Columbia, from April 24th to the 27th 2018. 250 Church leaders from 55 countries gathered for dialogue on the theme “Let mutual love continue” (Hebrews 13,1). The GCF brings together in one place the widest range of leaders of world Christianity today. Rev. Christien Crouwel is appointed as the new general secretary of the Council of Churches in the Netherlands (CCN) starting from 1 January 2019, succeeding Rev.
